DevDuo ("we," "our," or "us") operates the American Rail Empire mobile game application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how player data, local saves, and third-party advertising modules operate within the game for full Google Play Store compliance.
Local-First Game Save & Data Deletion Policy
American Rail Empire runs on a strict offline, local-first architecture. We do not collect, transmit, or store personal identifiable information (such as your real name, address, or email) on remote servers.
Local Data Storage:
All game save states—including unlocked platforms, station styles, rolling stock inventory, formed train
rakes, career dispatches, and in-game token balances—are saved strictly on your local device via
encrypted sandboxed databases.
Data Deletion Instructions:
Because your game data is entirely on-device, you have full control over resetting or deleting it:
- Clear App Storage: Navigate to your device's Settings > Apps > American Rail Empire > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data to wipe all progress.
- Uninstall the App: Removing the app from your device immediately and permanently erases all local database records.
- No Remote Server Deletion Needed: As no personal profile data is uploaded to our servers, you do not need to submit external web deletion tickets.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
- Account Profiles: No sign-up, email, phone number, or password is required to play.
- Personal Media & Files: The game does not read or upload your personal media, photos, or storage files.
- Precise Location: The game does not request or track GPS location data.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
To provide optional ad-rewarded game multipliers (such as 2x contract payouts and bonus spins), we use certified third-party ad networks:
- Google AdMob: May process non-identifying diagnostic information and device advertising IDs to deliver relevant rewarded and interstitial ads. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on their data processing.
3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Optional in-game purchases (such as the VIP Lifetime Pass and Tycoon Cash Packs) are processed exclusively by Google Play In-App Billing. DevDuo does not receive or store your credit card or financial credentials.
