Privacy Policy for 3D Card Viewer
DevDuo's ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our 3D Card Viewer mobile application (the "Service").
1. Local Data Processing & Storage
3D Card Viewer is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. All image processing, PDF extractions, and 3D rendering operations are performed exclusively on your device.
- Your Documents & Images: The files, ID cards, business cards, and documents you import or scan using the app are saved locally in the app's secure internal storage directory on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your documents on our servers.
- Vault Data: Your custom tags, project notes, and presentation settings are saved locally using device preferences.
2. Device Permissions Required
To provide core functionality, the app may request the following permissions:
- Camera Access: Required only if you choose to scan physical cards or documents directly into the app. We do not access your camera outside of this specific user-initiated action.
- Photo/Storage Access: Required to allow you to import existing photos or PDFs from your gallery, and to export your finished 3D creations, PDF sheets, or PNG files back to your device.
3. Information We Collect
Because the app operates entirely offline for its core features, our data collection is extremely limited:
- Anonymous Analytics & Crash Logs: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data, such as app crashes and basic feature usage. This data contains absolutely no personal information or document data, and is used solely to identify bugs and improve app stability.
- Purchase Information: If you purchase premium features, the transaction is securely handled by the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We receive anonymous tokens to verify your purchase, but we do not receive your payment details.
4. Data Security
Your imported images and PDF creations are stored securely within the app's local sandbox environment provided by the operating system (Android/iOS). However, as the data is stored locally, anyone with physical access to your unlocked device may be able to view your saved projects.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
