DevDuo's built the ResuMate AI app as a Free, Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by DevDuos at no cost and is intended for use as is.
1. Data Storage & Privacy
ResuMate AI follows a **local-first** principle. All resume data (names, contact info, experience, etc.) you enter is stored securely on your device using a local database. We (DevDuos) generally do not have access to this data.
2. Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or provide functionality:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as Advertising ID, coarse location, and usage metrics to serve relevant ads.
- Google Gemini API: When you use AI features (e.g., "AI Writer", "ATS Scanner", "Review Resume"), the text content (resume data, job descriptions) is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. This data is used solely to generate the response and is not used to train Google's models.
3. Log Data
In a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use of the Service.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
