Privacy Policy for Newszio
DevDuo's built the Newszio app as a Free, Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by DevDuos at no cost and is intended for use as is.
1. Data Storage & Local Preferences
Newszio follows a **local-first** principle. Your preferences, including bookmarked articles, custom feeds, pinned topics, and country selections, are stored securely on your device using a local database. We (DevDuos) do not transmit or store this personal reading data on our servers.
2. Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or provide functionality:
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as Advertising ID, coarse location, and usage metrics to serve relevant ads.
- RSS Feed Providers: Newszio aggregates content from public RSS feeds (e.g., Google News). When you click to read a full article, you may be directed to the original publisher's website, which may have its own privacy policy and cookie usage.
3. Log Data
In a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use of the Service.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
